Happy Valentines Day

Love is in the air… and in every bag, smile, and act of kindness this Valentine’s Day!
This week, the Trevor Wade Daniel Foundation had the sweetest privilege of delivering Valentine bags to brave kids spending the holiday in the hospital. From crafts and cuddly friends to silly straws and lots of treats, each bag was packed with love — because every child deserves to feel special on Valentine’s Day.
To the incredible warriors and families walking the cancer journey: you are seen, you are loved, and you are never alone. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and helps us bring hope when it’s needed most.
Happy Valentine’s Day from The Trevor Wade Daniel Foundation

A huge shoutout to everyone who donated to our Christmas bags. The Allegiant volleyball girls served up some awesome Christmas bags this year—giving our friends at Children’s and Dell Children’s everything they need to turn their hospital rooms into holiday magic. We even added special Christmas treat boxes for the HEMOC nurses and three giant Christmas coloring pages to brighten the hospital halls! Merry Christmas from The Trevor Wade Daniel Foundation

Spring Break LEGO Party at Children’s was a beautiful success. Thank you to all of our friends who donated LEGOs—your generosity truly makes a difference. It is such a privilege to partner with another family who has walked the same road, loving and supporting others in ways only we can understand. This year felt different. It was as if we were there just as much for the parents as for the kids. You could see it in their faces—a connection. Not one anyone would choose, but one that brings comfort, understanding, and a reminder that they are not alone. I love cheering for these patients and families, and this time, it was with LEGOs and Nerf guns.

Some of our recent patient applications and interactions have been really tough. While I’m grateful we can be there for all of them, I also cherish the moments when we can support our oncology friends in a fun and uplifting way. Today was all about spreading love by making Valentine’s Day bags for our friends who will be inpatient on February 14th. What made this even more special was having Trevor’s classmates from Greenville Christian assemble the bags. These students were such an important part of Trevor’s life, and seeing them come together in his honor means the world to me. Thank you, Greenville Christian sophomores—you’ll always hold a special place in my heart.
